At Bassein Urdu Education Society, we deeply value the trust and generosity of our donors. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be processed for donations made through our website or offline channels.

1.1 Nature of Donations:
Donations made to Bassein Urdu Education Society are used to support our educational programs, vocational training initiatives, community welfare activities, and other charitable causes. As donations are voluntary contributions for a social cause, they are generally non-refundable.
1.2 Tax Exemption Benefits:
Indian donors making contributions to our organization are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Once a donation is processed, a receipt is issued, and the donor becomes eligible for tax benefits. Refunds in such cases may affect the donor’s tax exemption eligibility.

2.1 Eligibility for Refunds:
Refunds will only be considered under the following circumstances:
Duplicate transactions (e.g., accidental multiple payments).
Incorrect amount donated due to technical errors.
Any other valid reason as determined by Bassein Urdu Education Society on a case-by-case basis.
2.2 Non-Refundable Donations:
Donations made for specific campaigns or events (e.g., fundraising drives, sponsorships) are non-refundable unless there is an error in processing.
2.3 Refund Request Process:
To request a refund, donors must contact us within 7 days of the donation date via email at bues1982@gmail.com or by phone at +91 9860235918/7066018055. The request must include:
Full name of the donor
Transaction/UTR number
Date of donation
Amount donated
Reason for refund request
2.4 Processing Time:
Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 working days from the date of approval. The refund will be credited to the same account or payment method used during the donation.

3.1 Cancellation of Recurring Donations:
If you have set up recurring donations (e.g., monthly contributions) and wish to cancel them, please notify us at least 10 days before the next scheduled payment date by emailing bues1982@gmail.com with your details.
3.2 Event Sponsorship Cancellations:
In case of event-specific sponsorship cancellations, refunds will only be considered if the cancellation request is received at least 15 days prior to the event date.
