Founded in 1972, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through education. The organization was established with the vision of providing quality education to underprivileged, needy, and deserving students, regardless of their caste, creed, or religion. It has grown into a beacon of hope for the economically weaker sections of society by offering free and affordable education, skill development programs, and holistic learning opportunities.
The society operates multiple institutions, including Huzaifa Urdu High School (established in 1982) and Huzaifa Junior College (established in 2008), which serve over 1,500 students annually. To further support students’ academic aspirations, it also provides free coaching for competitive exams like NEET and JEE. Additionally, the NGO empowers women through vocational training programs such as tailoring, beautician courses, and computer basics, helping them achieve financial independence.
With a strong commitment to community welfare, the Bassein Urdu Education Society also organizes social initiatives like cleanliness drives (Swachh Bharat Abhiyan), health awareness programs, and cultural events to foster a sense of responsibility and unity among its beneficiaries. Guided by its motto, “Growth in Education Leads to Growth of the Nation,” the NGO continues to work tirelessly toward creating an equitable society where education is accessible to all.
